Ask me questions regarding my birth philosophies, my role and how we will work together towards your birth wishes. Get to know me and see if I am the right fit for your birth team.
We will have a minimum of two prenatal visits after you have chosen to hire me, where we come together and find what is important to you to give you confidence to give birth the way you are wishing. We will work on positioning, comfort measures, emotional support and much more.
Phone & Email Support
Upon hiring I am reachable by phone or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) any time, day or night. (Cell number given to you upon hiring)
As my client, you will have free use of my extensive lending library of books, DVDs, as well as free access to use my Kaya birth stool.
You will have my continuous emotional, physical and informational support throughout your labor and birth. I will be there to protect and advocate for you and your birth wishes.
Baby’s First Feeding Support
I offer you first feeding support in the birth room and the days and weeks following.
I am familiar with a wide range of pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum professionals in our community. I have contacts for services such as (but absolutely not limited to) pre-and-post natal acupuncture and chiropractic medicine, placenta encapsulation, midwifery, and counseling services. Please contact me for information about these, and many other, local services available to you.
Emotional, Informational, and Spiritual Support
I am not a medical professional. My role is to support your emotional, informational and physical (comfort) needs. I will neither perform clinical tasks nor give medical advice.
I will help you to find answers to your questions and information to help you make informed decisions. I will help you find your voice.
This Is Your Story
This is your story. My experiences and personal beliefs will not be projected onto you. I do not want to influence the outcome of your birth or your feelings about it in any way. This is your story to tell and you will remember it forever.
Postpartum Follow-Up Visit
We will have two post partum visits. The first will occur the day after delivery, and we will meet for our second (closing) visit a week to ten days after delivery. I am still on call for you in the postpartum time as needed.
